She stands there grief turning into tears,
She has the deepest of love for him, but never
Did she realize the greatest of fears.
To her he is lost, now and forever;
Leaving only the words \"In Loving Memory\"
To mark the place where he rests at ease
This he did leave for his lover to see,
Only to remind her of a love that will never cease
\"I\'ll be waiting for you,\" the note did say,
\"You must, from now on, live for yourself
We won\'t be apart for long, but seize today.
I wish only the best for you and your health,
This is my death shroud and here I will stay
Remember me in love and no other way.\"

Having just watched Moulin Rouge, I can definetely feel this poem. I like the rhyme scheme: no real pattern but it still flows. nice job.
peace.
